About IPAF

What is IPAF Training in the North East?

So, what exactly is IPAF training, and what can attendees expect from the day? IPAF training allows you to achieve the global standard in Mobile Elevating Work Platform applications. In simple terms, IPAF training provides you with the ability to work at a height safely and securely.

In the delivery of IPAF training, the course is split into two sessions. The first session will focus on the rules and regulations of working at a height. This focuses on theory and knowledge, the capabilities of work platforms, emergency procedures, potential hazards, and operator responsibilities. Following this training, the participants will be presented with a short questionnaire to solidify their knowledge.

The second session will revolve around practical focuses, including pre-use inspection, safety checks, operator practice, verbal questioning, and a series of assessments. To conclude, we’ll discuss log book completion, summarise the day’s learnings, and take photos for the candidates’ PAL cards. Successful candidates will receive their cards within roughly five days.

Here at North East Access Training, we leave no stone unturned, which is what places us at the top of the list when it comes to independent IPAF training centres in the North East.
